Privacy policy

You can browse this website without registering. We process your data when you write to us through the contact form and, if you agree, when we measure visits. Here we explain how, and what your rights are.

Data controller and contact details

The data controller is Campillos Town Council (Ayuntamiento de Campillos), tax identification number P2903200J, at Avda. Santa María del Reposo, 4, 29320 Campillos (Málaga). You can contact the Culture Department on 952 72 35 53.

For data protection matters, contact the Data Protection Officer at protecciondedatos@malaga.es, calle Pacífico, 54, 29004 Málaga, telephone 952 133 624. These details are published in the Town Council’s official data protection information.

Contact form

The form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. The visible fields are required so that we can handle your enquiry. The email also includes the page from which the form was sent, its language and the date and time when the privacy checkbox was selected. Please avoid including sensitive information or information about other people unless it is needed for your enquiry.

Purpose. To receive, handle and respond to enquiries about Semana Santa in Campillos or accessibility issues. Messages are not used for advertising, newsletters or profiling.

Legal basis. For voluntary enquiries, processing is based on your consent when you provide your information and submit your request. You can withdraw it by contacting the data controller, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. The privacy checkbox records that you have read this information. If your request leads to an administrative procedure, the applicable legal basis will be the exercise of the Town Council’s statutory functions or compliance with a legal obligation.

Delivery, recipients and retention

Enquiries are sent by email to the Town Council’s Culture Department, which handles them. The form does not create a message archive in the website’s database: each enquiry stays in the mailboxes used to manage it. Hosting and email providers may process the data needed to provide those services.

Messages are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, for the statutory periods relating to liabilities arising from its handling and the retention of administrative records. You can ask the data controller or Data Protection Officer about the retention period that applies to your enquiry.

Access to enquiries must be limited to staff who need to handle them. They are not used for commercial purposes or shared with third parties for those purposes. Information may be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to handle your request.

Form security

The form includes a hidden field that only automated programs fill in; submissions that fill it in are discarded. This check is carried out on the website’s server, without external services.

Visitor statistics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used: pages visited, length of the visit, type of device and browser, language, approximate country or region, and the page you came from. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.

Legal basis. Your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time from the cookie panel. If you do not give it, Google Analytics sets no cookies and only receives signals, without identifiers, that you have not given your consent. Your choice is stored in your own browser.

Recipients and retention. Google Ireland Limited provides the service as a data processor. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Data on each visit is kept for a maximum of 14 months; after that, only aggregate figures remain. Google may process data in the United States: Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as an adequate safeguard.

The specific cookies are listed in the cookie policy.

Pregón videos

The pregones (Holy Week proclamations) in the Magazine archive are played through YouTube, a Google service. The page does not connect to YouTube until you click a video; from then on, Google processes data about your browser and your use of the player under its privacy policy.

Adding events to your calendar

You can add an event from the calendar section to your own calendar as a reminder. This is optional.

iPhone, Outlook and other calendars. The event file (.ics) is generated on your device and contains only public event information and an alert 30 minutes beforehand. You decide whether to save it to your calendar.

Google Calendar. The link opens Google Calendar in a new tab with the public event information already filled in. The event is saved only if you confirm it in your Google account. When you use that service, Google’s privacy policy applies.

This website does not record which events you add or which calendar you use.

Maps and external links

The route maps use OpenStreetMap data. Your browser downloads map images from its servers, which receive technical connection information, such as your IP address. This processing is governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.

The website links to the social media profiles of the brotherhoods and the Association, and to other information websites. Following these links takes you away from this website, and each service’s own privacy policy applies.

Technical browsing data

The server records technical connection data, such as the IP address, the date and the page requested, to keep the website secure and running. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling, and are kept for as long as necessary for those purposes and to meet the applicable legal obligations.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, as well as restriction of processing, objection and data portability where applicable. You can also withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, contact the data controller or Data Protection Officer using the details on this page. They may ask for the information needed to verify your identity.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos). This website does not make automated decisions about you or carry out profiling.

Changes to this policy

We will update this information if the website’s features or the processing of personal data change.
