Cookie policy

We use technical cookies to make the website work and, only if you agree, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. Here we explain what they are and how to change your choice at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage.

Who uses them

Campillos Town Council (Ayuntamiento de Campillos) is responsible for this website. Some cookies are set by the website itself and others by external services such as Google Analytics or YouTube. Contact details and further information about your data are in the privacy policy.

Technical cookies

They are needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require your consent and are always active.

cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing and cmplz_policy_id. First-party. They record whether you have accepted or rejected each type of cookie and which version of this policy you have seen, so that we do not ask you again on every page. They last 1 year.

wp_consent_functional, wp_consent_preferences, wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_statistics-anonymous and wp_consent_marketing. First-party. They pass your choice on to the rest of the website’s components so that they respect it. They last 30 days.

wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-* and _lscache_vary. First-party. They are only set for the people who manage the website when they log in: they keep the session open, save their dashboard preferences and stop them seeing cached pages. They last from the session up to 1 year.

Analytics cookies

They are only set if you accept them. We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to find out in aggregate how many people visit the website, which pages they view, what type of device they use and where they come from. We use this information to improve the content and the information for visitors.

_ga. Managed by Google Analytics. Distinguishes each browser anonymously to count visitors. Lasts 2 years.

_ga_RJNQ9VG3PN. Managed by Google Analytics. Stores the state of the visit to count sessions and page views. Lasts 2 years.

If you do not accept them, they are not set: the website only sends Google cookieless signals, which do not identify your browser, to indicate that you have not given your consent. Google may process data outside the European Union; Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information in Google’s information about cookies.

YouTube videos

The pregones (Holy Week proclamations) in the Magazine archive are played through YouTube, a Google service. Until you click a video, the page does not connect to YouTube. When you play one, YouTube sets its own cookies, such as YSC, PREF, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA, __Secure-YEC and __Secure-YENID, to run the player, remember your preferences, measure its use and prevent abuse. They last from the session up to about 13 months.

If you do not want them to be set, do not play the videos: the rest of the Magazine archive works just the same. These cookies are governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Maps and other services

Route maps. The map images are downloaded from OpenStreetMap’s servers. This website does not ask them to set cookies; their use is governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy.

Google Calendar. If you choose to add an event to Google Calendar, the link takes you to Google’s website, where its own cookie policy applies. Adding it to iOS Calendar does not involve any external service.

Social media and other websites. The links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and the Ayuntamiento de Campillos website only take you to those pages. Once there, their cookie policies apply.

How to change your choice

You can accept, reject or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie panel. Withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.

You can also view and delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you block them all, the website will still work, but we will ask you again on every visit.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the website adds or stops using any service that sets cookies.
